About Us

We provide day education for children aged from 4 to 11 years of age, serving the communities of Newton Flotman, Swainsthorpe and Saxlingham Thorpe. As a Church of England Academy and a member of St Benet’s MAT, we uphold the values of the Christian faith and work closely with our local churches and the diocese, as well as the local community and local authority. All are very involved in the life of our schools and should you choose our school we look forward to welcoming you and working with you.

Our aim is to create an environment in which your child can learn and establish sound foundations for learning enabling him/her to enjoy their time at their school and reach their individual potential. The Academy has provided both staff and pupils with exciting opportunities for teaching and learning while retaining our distinctive character which makes our school a place of Christian love and care where all are welcomed and included.

We aim to create a secure and positive environment for the whole school community and ensure that Christian Values are the foundation for our school. We value the achievements and contributions of every member of our school community and aim to enable all pupils to develop their abilities to the full.

Our school has a clear management structure. Whilst the Head Teacher has overall responsibility for what happens in school, various staff have curriculum and other responsibilities.
